Over the last few years, my father has given me his worn-in clothing for art making. I used a few of his old polos in my over-sized patchwork quilt at my Touchstone Center for Crafts artist residency in 2021. Now, I’ve been gifted with an amazing stack of perfectly worn-in Wrangler jeans. What will these become? They may end up in the shoppe or in a quilt! We shall see…
