In Spring 2022, I adopted a one-year old, semi-feral cat from Craigslist! She was free to a good home and came with loads of supplies…let’s just say she was gettin’ put out!
She’s a lovely silky-fur, tortoise shell, American Short Hair cat. She came with the ironic name Luvy from her previous human and I added the more literal nomer, Acid. With time, she has become more mature and loving…as much as a Tortie can be!
Though we’ve had many family pets, I haven’t had my own personal companion in years and she keeps me busy, distracted, annoyed, and loved. To have a furry diva lay across my artwork, licking herself, is more company than I could have hoped for.
