In Spring 2021, I was an artist-in-residence on scholarship at Touchstone Center for Crafts in rural Southwest Pennsylvania on the Laurel Highlands Mountains…yes, it was as beautiful as it sounds! I drove there from Texas and stayed for one month creating a king-sized quilt from my old clothing, and that of family and friends.
