The Artist's Wardrobe: Comfortable and Cozy

After I arrived back to North Texas, I unpacked my suitcase and realized the many garments that make up my identity as an artist. Each piece tells a story. Here is a snippet of what I wore on my two month journey this Spring. From my home in North Texas, to the Center for the Study of Early Texas Art conference in Austin, to the artist residency at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania. These garments were comfortable and cozy for air travel and lugging luggage.

Sweat shirt tee, butterfly head wrap, leather backpack purse, outmoded jeans.

I found these button fly jeans at a thrift store in North Texas. I cut off the bottoms because they were too long and over time, they became covered in paint and holes.
