2020-2023 has been life changing, hard as hell, and overwhelming. But, there has been a few bright spots. I moved house several times until I found a place that was comparatively safer, healthier, and happier. I created several new art series that reflected the quieter moments of a chaotic time in American history and my personal history. I found who I am as an artist by exploring my potential outside the ‘art industry’ and had a more freeing experience. I channeled my frustration and hardship into activism. I turned 38! Here’s to 2024 and all the art we’ll make.
