‘The thing is…the landlord turned out to be a bit of a hoarder and it just so happens that landlord is also my mother. So, it’s a bit unfortunate that our relationship has soured a little bit.

It’s so hard to explain what has happened with our dynamic or to sum things up in a short and sweet manner. But, enough for you guys to understand the context of the situation, it’s just been hard to be constantly surrounded in negativity and criticism and not have your own family believe in you. Especially since they’re my family, I kind of want that love from them and I know that I’m not getting it.

So, yeah. It’s been tough. It’s too long to have to explain it. It’s just ruff and I don’t wish this upon anybody. I hope that you’re always surrounded by people, or you choose to surround yourself with people, who love you and believe in you, who are whole heartedly supporting you. You know?’

I can relate to how she feels about constantly moving and I applaud her bravery in speaking openly about fractured family ties. She also introduces her new pet dog which is so important for expressing joy and love. In March 2022, I too experienced a major shift in my family dynamics and professional life.
